Timbaland, Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado To Release New Music Together After 16 Years

American superproducer Timbaland and legendary pop singers Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado are reportedly gearing up for their new single. The trio, who first linked up on “Give It To Me” sixteen years ago, have confirmed that their new pop single is slated to arrive on September 1.

While the “Sexyback” producer is yet to reveal the exclusive artwork of his upcoming single, he has confirmed that the record is titled “Keep Going Up”. Earlier today, Timbaland shared the track preview which captures the American record producer FaceTiming Furtado to share the “final mix”.

Notably, Timbaland is gearing up for his fourth LP. The producer, who hasn’t released a full-length project since the 2009 “Shock Value II” LP, teased that his fourth studio album will drop in November this year.

Whether “Keep Going Up” will serve as the album’s lead single is yet to be confirmed by Timbaland.

Further, Timbaland is working on Timberlake’s forthcoming sixth studio album. The LP, which might arrive later this year, is executive-produced by the “My Love” producer and will be the sixth such effort between the two artists.

During a recent interview with Variety, Timbaland spoke at length about Timberlake’s upcoming album and described it as the return of “Fun Justin”.

“It’s fun Justin — it’s like “FutureSex /LoveSounds” but nothing too heavy, just giving you what you’d expect from us: not overthought, the lyrics are not so deep, it’s bob-your-head, dance-to-it music. Music is a young sport, and you have to keep it fun — fun and young,” Timbaland said at the time.

In other news, another R&B and Pop pioneer Usher, who rose to worldwide prominence during the same time as Mozart Timadeas and JT, linked up with Summer Walker and 21 Savage on the “Good Good” music video.

Look out for “Keep Going Up” by Timbaland, Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado on September 1.
