Watch: Lebron James Raps Ab-Soul’s Track Word By Word

Within days after Top Dawg Entertainment’s iconic emcee Ab-Soul released the long-awaited ‘Herbert’ LP, NBA superstar Lebron James was one of the earliest athletes to show his vocal support for the California-born emcees’ fifth effort.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers MVP isn’t done with listening to the album and grooving to it yet. Earlier today, James performed Herbert’s opening record ‘Message In A Bottle’ while getting a haircut. The clip, which was later shared by Ab-Soul himself, captures James rapping the first verse of the Rory Behr-produced rap record.

‘Herbert’ is Soul’s first record in six years. As per a TDE press release, Ab-Soul’s latest album is “a deliberately intimate portrait of the man behind Ab-Soul going back to his foundation, as noted by the name of the record, leaving the conspiracy theories he’s known for behind while emphasizing his musicality.” Besides Rory Behr, the production on the LP is led by Sounwave, DJ Premier, James Blake, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, and DJ Dahi, among others.
