Watch: Rap Celebrates the Massive Return of Gunna In Spike Jordan-Directed ‘rodeo dr’ Music Video

Atlanta’s Hip-Hop superstar and Young Thug’s ‘close affiliate’ Gunna, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, has premiered the third visual treatment from “A Gift & A Curse” LP.

The braggadocious emcee, who continues to raze through global rap music after rather testing times, has followed up the NSFW “fukumean” music video with another flagrant rap record “rodeo dr”.

Produced by rap superproducers Angelo Ferrero & Florian “Flo” Ongonga, the visuals capture Gunna’s fans in Atlanta and Beverly Hills celebrating his unprecedented return to rap music.

The rapper, who was just in the midst of a crucial phase in his sprawling rap career, rightly deserves so. While the “Drip Too Hard” rapper was meted out with criticism from another legendary Atlanta emcee Lil Baby and Philadelphia’s Meek ‘Milli’, the pioneer responded with an affecting rap LP.

Gunna’s latest music video is directed by legendary rap filmmaker Spike Jordan. Most recently, Jordan linked up with Punjabi Rap & Pop superstar AP Dhillon on “Sleepless”.

As reported earlier, Spike Jordan has filmed some of the most influential rap music videos of our times including “idk anymore” by Gunna, “Lord Knows” by Meek Mill, “Wave Gods” by NasA$ap Rocky & DJ Premier, “Drip Too Hard” by wunnaLil Baby and more.

Ironically, Gunna’s album faced scathing competition from ‘his brother’ Young Thug.

While Thug remains incarcerated to this day, he made unprecedented moves in global rap music by dropping his third LP “Business Is Business”.

The album, which was announced within minutes after Gunna released his 4th studio album, featured some of Hip-Hop’s most influential emcees including DrakeLil Uzi VertTravis Scott21 SavageFuture and more.

Further, Thugga linked up with marquee record producers David & Eli, Wheezy, Aviator Keyyz, Kid Masterpiece, D Rich, Dr Luke, FNZ, F1lthy, Allen Ritter, Dre Moon, Southside and more.

Notably, the LP was executive-produced by Metro Boomin who reportedly took just two weeks to produce the entire rap record.
