After teasing the five-track EP over the last few weeks, Punjabi Hip-Hop & Pop star Tarsem Jassar has released the much awaited ‘Enigma’ EP. On a stunning Wazir Patar led production, the ‘Kingpin’ rapper and singer drops his ferocious lyricism over Arsenal, Enigma, Feel, Roots and Why Black !.
‘Enigma’ is Jasser’s sophomore EP and serves as the follow-up to his last five-track effort ‘Defcon 1’ released earlier this year. Over the years, Jassar has released two full-length LPs – Illuminati (2016) and Turbanator (2018) – and numerous hits including 6L featuring Kulbir Jhinjer, Raza and more.
However, Jassar’s latest collaborative effort with Patar takes him away from his constantly switching rhythms between Punjabi Hip-Hop and Pop Folk and delves deeper into hard-hitting old-school rap. Patar further cements the underlying Hip-Hop across the album with his groovy ad-libs.
