36 years ago, iconic Indian rapper and songwriter Kr$na, real name Krishna Kaul, was born. The pioneering artist, who continues to leave a historic impact on Indian rap music, was born on October 8th 1987 in Delhi and has risen to far-reaching prominence and status in Hip-Hop.
Kr$na, who presently helms the Indian rap game through lethal verses and provocative choppa flow, debuted with the sprawling rap LP “Sellout”. For many, the 8-track English rap record changed Indian Hip-Hop forever.
While the album paved the way for major label releases, Kr$na became the first Indian rapper to do a humble yet impactful 5-city tour at the time.
The emcee has bee unstoppable and ruthless ever since.
Kr$na continues to drop projects at will. Earlier this year, the rap royalty shared two flagrant EPs – “Time Will Tell” & “Far From Over”.
