South London’s iconic Punjabi singer, emcee and filmmaker on the come-up Raf-Saperra, born Adeel Sardar Khan, shut down New York’s Irving Plaza and brought out Nas‘ prodigy and Harlem’s prolific artist Dave East.
The flagrant emcee, who reportedly performed as part of his sprawling “Ruff Around The Edges World Tour” in the U.S., linked up with East amidst his far-reaching partnership with Nas’ coveted record label Mass Appeal.
Saperra’s performance at the Irving Plaza marked one of the two tour dates in the U.S. His flagrant link-up with Dave East was preceded by his sold-out show at August Hall, San Francisco.
Since partnering with Mass Appeal, Raf-Saperra has often been seen with Don Pablo. Ahead of East’s shocking appearance at Saperra’s N.Y. concert, the marquee artists also linked up on the former’s “Baywatch (Eastmix)” visual cut.
East’s appearance at Saperra’s rap concert has led to widespread speculation about their debut collaborative effort.
The rising Punjabi emcee, who released his debut single “Ranjha” via Mass Appeal India earlier this month, is now gearing up for his five-track EP “Five Deadly Venomz”.

As per Saperra, the EP arrives through Nas’ label and a flagrant rap record with a Dave East feature does not seem far-fetched.
Raf-Saperra is yet to comment.
