South London’s influential Punjabi Hip-Hop emcee and filmmaker Raf-Saperra, born Adeel Sardar Khan, has just added two new dates for his “Ruff Around The Edges World Tour”. The hard-hitting Punjabi rap and folk artist, who is slated to further perform in Birmingham, London and Manchester this October, has revealed that his performances in the U.K. will be followed by two live sets in New York and San Francisco, California.

Reportedly, Raf will perform at the August Hall in San Francisco and Irving Plaza in New York on November 3 and November 18 respectively this year. Notably, Raf first announced his debut “Ruff Around The Edges World Tour” in May this year. At the time, the “Snake Charmer” confirmed that he is slated to perform across the U.S., the U.K. and Canada this year.

The tickets will go on sale through Live Nation this Friday.

Most recently, Raf linked up with record producer and DJ Bobby Kang for a provocative live set at Boiler Room, Southall.

The emcee, who was further joined by Panjabi Hit Squad, Manj, Vedic Roots Sound System and DJ Ritu, did a rare live rendition of his massive single Modern Mirza and performed it over Giggs’ Dr Dre-produced breakthrough rap record “Talkin’ Da Hardest”.

Raf’s world tour arrives after his evocative debut mixtape “Ruff Around The Edges”. Released in March this year, the 19-track LP is a glorious nineteen-track record which serves as a far-reaching concoction of raw Punjabi folk and classic Hip-Hop. The mixtape includes Raf-Saperra’s independent single “Modern Mirza”.

Produced by influential Punjabi folk and rap record producers Bobby Kang, G Funk, DJ Juggy, The Culprit, Ransome Beatz, Rafaqat Hussain and himself, Raf-Saperra’s affecting mixtape is released via a limited batch of physical copies – Vinyl, CD & Cassette – and available for digital streaming.

The LP is released through London’s underground record label Fat Boy Records and features guest features from Ustaad Latafat Ali Khan, Loun, Myrgasmic and Naseebo Lal.

Most recently, Raf linked up with the legendary Punjabi singer Jazzy B, Dr Zeus and Birmingham’s underground emcee Nakeeta on “Automatic Asla”.

Look out for Raf-Saperra’s forthcoming live sets across the U.S. and the U.K. this year.
