Amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming studio album “I Am Music”, Atlanta’s rap superstar Playboi Carti, born Jordan Terrell Carter, has released his 6th solo single this year. Titled “Ketamine”, the single is produced by Hip-Hop superproducers Cardo and Ojivolta and will feature on the marquee rapper’s 4th LP.
The hard-hitting single, which arrives within a day after Carti’s sprawling collaboration “Carnival” with Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign and Rich The Kid reached the #1 spot on Billboard Hot 100, has stirred unprecedented conversations about Carti’s first full-length effort in nearly 5 years.
Earlier this morning, Carti’s coveted record label and creative agency Opium released the flagrant “Ketamine” visual cut.
The single and the visual treatment are yet to be released on streaming platforms and arrive after another disruptive announcement by Opium, and Kanye West.
For Carti, who recently featured on Ye & Ty Dolla $ign’s top-tier album “Vultures 1”, “Ketamine” serves as the follow-up to 5 provocative rap records – “EvilJ0rdan”, “BACKR00MS” featuring Travis Scott, “H00DBYAIR”, Kanye West-produced “2024” and “Different Day/Ur The Moon”. The records will feature on “I Am Music” too.

In other news, Playboi Carti’s labelmate Gab3 premiered his new single “I Got Bands” from his forthcoming LP “00RAV3”.
Produced by the “Stop Breathing” rapper’s frequent collaborator and record producer F1lthy, the single is released alongside a provocative visual cut featuring Kanye West, Bianca Censori and Justin Bieber.
