Amidst soaring anticipation for his 4th studio album “I Am Music”, which is expected to drop this month, Atlanta’s cult rap figure Playboi Carti has released the 4th lead single from the project.
Earlier this morning, Carti linked up with another marquee rapper and record producer Travis Scott and SEXISDEATH on “BACKR00MS”. The single, which marks Carti’s 3rd official collaboration with Scott, is released alongside a provocative visual cut and is available for streaming exclusively via YouTube.

For Carti, “BACKR00MS” serves as the follow-up to three alleged lead singles from his forthcoming LP – “H00DBYAIR”, Kanye West-produced “2024” and “Different Day/Ur The Moon”.
Carti’s latest single arrives just ahead of his “Antagonist World Tour” alongside Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang.
First announced in July last year, the rapper was originally slated to perform across the globe from September 6th. However, the rapper cancelled the long-awaited tour to first drop his full-length rap record.
The tour now begins on January 14th 2023. Carti’s fans, oftentimes referred to as Vamps, may expect the LP to drop before that date.
