Breakthrough R&B singer 4Batz, born Neko Bennett, has released his debut mixtape. Titled “u made me a st4r”, the inaugural project from the Texas-bred emcee traverses “viii” distinct acts and a much anticipated guest appearances by infamous Chicago rapper Kanye West.
Notably, the mixtape features the original version of “act iii: date @ 8” and not its starry remix with OVO mogul Drake. However, West’s guest verse arrives as part of another remix – this time of “act ii: on god? (she like)”.
West’s appearance on 4Batz’s debut tape arrives within days after the “Carnival” rapper dissed Drake on “Like That (Remix)” with Metro Boomin.
With Hip-Hop divided as ever and rappers releasing scathing diss tracks left, right & centre, it’s interesting to see how the young American singer stands immune from the fierce lyrical violence.
In other news, Kendrick Lamar has released his scathing response to Drake’s diss track “Push Ups” aimed at him & the Metro Boomin camp. Titled “Euphoria”, the flagrant six-minute record is produced by a slew of Hip-Hop superproducers Johhny Juliano, Sounwave, Yung Exclusive and Cardo.
