Compton’s legendary emcee, songwriter and philanthropist YG, born Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, has released his first single this year. Titled “Knocka”, the two-and-a-half minute West Coast banger serves as the alleged single from the 4Hunnid mogul‘s forthcoming “Just Re’d Up 3” LP with DJ Mustard.
First confirmed by YG nearly 8 years ago, “Just Re’d Up 3” is set to drop this summer and will traverse exclusive executive production from Mustard.
Reportedly, YG’s latest single is produced by Larry Jay, tour DJ & record producer Vision and Kay Kay. The trailblazing single captures YG’s top-tier West Coast rap life in Compton & California and further marks the official beginning of his 4Hunnid Label’s recently announced relationship with BMG.

With the release of “Knocka”, YG is further gearing up for the release of his debut single with breakthrough rapper Sexyy Red. Titled “Gang Shit”, the single was first previewed by the “Hit Me When U Leave The Klub” rapper during his debut live set in India last year.
