Punjabi emcee & songwriter AP Dhillon, born Amritpal Singh Dhillon, has finally released his top-tier project “The Brownprint”.
Released via coveted New York-based label Republic Records, the brief project features guest appearances by Atlanta’s rap superstar Gunna, Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, legendary Punjabi veteran Jazzy B, Shinda Kahlon and Syra.
First announced last month, “The Brownprint” traverses 9 massive records including the previously released theatrical single “Old Money”, “Brown Print”, “Losing Myself”, “Bora Bora”, “315” and “Distance”. Across the massive EP, Dhillon forays into flagrant Punjabi rap, Pop, House and even punk.

Just ahead of premiering his first project in nearly two years, Dhillon shared a provocative “The Brownprint” trailer and “Sweet Flower” preview via Instagram. Watch them below.
For Dhillon, the star-studded effort arrives after releasing a slew of top-tier Mass Appeal records including “Problems Over Peace” featuring British Grime MVP Stormzy, “Real Talk”, “Sleepless”, “Lifestyle” & “Scars”, “With You” and “True Stories”.
Notably, Dhillon’s collaboration with Gurinder Gill still remains elusive.
Throughout the EP rollout, the Toronto-bred emcee’s ardent fans pushed for an imminent joint effort with Gill. However, the “Hard Choices” emcee is gearing up for forthcoming music with Money Musik set to release later this year.
Earlier this summer, Dhillon performed his debut Coachella set alongside a slew of global pop & rap heavyweights including Ice Spice, Skepta, Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely of the Playboi Carti camp, Lil Uzi Vert, Coi Leray and this year’s headliners Lana Del Ray, Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat.
