Indian Hip-Hop’s legendary emcee, record producer and songwriter Prabhdeep has made his historic debut on Coke Studio Bharat. Joining forces with India’s leading Pop singer Rashmeet Kaur and folk musicians Sakur Khan Sufi, Lateeb Khan and Satar Khan on ‘Taqdeer’, the iconic ‘PRAA’ emcee drops one of his finest verses of all time on the record.
Notably, Prabhdeep isn’t the only emcee who has dropped affecting raps over a Coke Studio record. In February this year, Seedhe Maut linked up with folk musician Maithili Thakur and Bhojpuri cinema’s superstar Ravi Kishan, the Delhi-based emcees dropped hard-hitting bars on ‘Holi Ke Rasiya’.
Coke Studio Bharat debuted with Tamilian rap star Arivu and Khateeja Rahman’s ‘Sagavaasi’ and ‘Udja’ by OAFF, Savera, Burrah and Jasleen. Notably, the records serve as the first set of releases from Coke Studio India after nearly eight years. Coke Studio India first premiered in India on June 7th 2011.
