Dehradun’s ferocious emcee and songwriter Karma has taken ruthless jabs on the Bantai Records roster. The rapper, who parted ways with Raftaar’s Hip-Hop label Kalamkaar earlier this year, has released his sophomore single “Young Galeech” since becoming independent.
Produced by Shredded, the drill-heavy record is a flagrant diss aimed directly at Young Ghalib, his mentor and Indian Hip-Hop superstar Emiway Bantai and arrives after numerous alleged subliminals by Ghalib in the past.
Across the three-minute single, Karma references Tupac Shakur to raze through Ghalib’s “weak” musicality and a ‘dull’ discography even after being backed by one of the hottest record labels in India. Further, Karma flagrantly destroys Emiway Bantai’s recent single “Company” and leads unprecedented provocation at the emcee.
On the record, Karma notes that he must’ve made far-reaching mistakes in his career. However, he never signed himself to a “fool” – referencing Bantai. Towards the end of the track, Karma makes it clear that he is in fact looking for a beef with Young Ghalib.

Karma’s incendiary provocation against Young Galib has turned ugly. The Bantai Records affiliate has responded to Karma’s diss with a hard-hitting drill record. Titled “Kulfa-Kar-Ma”, the track uncovers Karma’s fiery comments with even personal comebacks.

Whether this will result in a prolonged fallout remains to be seen. However, this has been a testing time for Indian rap music.
Earlier this month, Emiway Bantai announced a new rap record within days after linking up with Yo Yo Honey Singh. Around the same time, Raftaar was quite vocal against Yo Yo Honey Singh on Twitter. The ‘PRAA’ emcee even accused the former ‘Mafia Mundeer’ affiliate of unfair business practices and not giving songwriters their due credit.
