Top Dawg Entertainment’s Ab-Soul – real name Herbert Anthony Stevens IV – has revealed the first visual treatment after ‘Herbert’ LP released. Directed by Omar Jones and Onda, Soul dropped the visuals for ‘FOMF’ or ‘F*** Outta My Face’ – the fifth track on the album, it features TDE’s Schoolboy Q a.k.a. Groovy Q and has Boi-1da, SMPLGTWY, Sounwave, OJ Finessey and Eddie Priest on production.

“Face it, you’re basic, I’m basically one in infinity
Back to the basics, my friend is my enemy’s enemy
Smoke like a chimney, D’USSÉ the remedy
Gave her a shot, now she be giving me top in the drop
But I’m not a Kennedy, you need to stop
This elementary, thicken the plot
Make you a memory that we forgot
How does it feel like to be food for thought
Get it while it’s hot (huh)
Fuck out my face (f*** out my face)
UFO or if you a foe either way you in my space
Talking heavy on the record
Featherweights should wait in line
Godbody, you can never N****** stuck on demon time
Every second is divine
We gon’ run this s*** forever
Get it, done it, said goodbye
Do it, do it, nigga squad
Mama pressure had the presser
Pipe busts everytime You know the m******** vibe
You ain’t gang, step aside, b****” Ab-Soul & Schoolboy rap over the self-absorbing boastful record.

Further, the music video features Ab-Soul’s TDE labelmates Isaiah Rashad, Jay Rock, Zacari, Ray Vaughn and Reason.

Titled ‘Herbert’, the latest LP serves as the follow-up to Soul’s fourth studio album Do What Thou Wilt released on December 9th 2016. The star-studded album features guest appearances from Big Sean, Russ, Joey Bada$$, Jhené Aiko, SiR Punch, Zacari, Fre$h, Ambré, ALEMEDA and Lance Skiiiwalker.

Notably, ‘Herbert’ is Soul’s first record in six years. As per a TDE press release, Ab-Soul’s latest album is “a deliberately intimate portrait of the man behind Ab-Soul going back to his foundation, as noted by the name of the record, leaving the conspiracy theories he’s known for behind while emphasizing his musicality.” The production on the LP is led by Sounwave, DJ Premier, James Blake, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, and DJ Dahi, among others.
