Mumbai-based underground Hip-Hop emcee and lyricist Adi has released his latest single ‘Maiti Nai’. Clocking at just over a minute and a half, the single serves as the follow-up to Who Are Ya Foolin’?
Adi revealed on the self-curated podcast ‘The Having Said that Show’ that the ‘Maiti Nai’ will be released alongside a music video which reportedly took “two weeks to finish” amidst an “eight-day shoot”.
Adi is behind some of the finest sounds in Indian Hip-Hop including the Testing Waters, Old Me Knew You and Pigeonholed EPs. Over the years, he has collaborated with Azadi Records’ Ahmer and Mdhv. Besides three hard-hitting deftly curated EPs, Adi is behind hit singles including Between the Lines, Back in Town f/ MDHV and the recently released 6 AM in Bombay and Who Are Ya Foolin’?
