Atlanta’s Hip-Hop superstar Lil Baby, born Dominique Armani Jones, has added a rare Maybach to his impressive fleet of vehicles. One of just 50 Maybachs ever produced as part of “Project Maybach” – Virgil Abloh’s collaborative effort with Mercedes, Baby recently took to social media to reveal the iconic automobile.
Last year, Lil Baby expressed his admiration for Virgil Abloh’s far-reaching ‘Project Maybach’ on the It’s Only Me LP. Rapping alongside on the Murda Beatz and Tay Keith-produced record “From Now On”, Baby dropped a bar for Abloh at the time. “Virgil Maybach be so sweet, we just get ’em, ain’t no beef,” Baby raps on the 13th record off his album.

The ‘Project Maybach’ was first featured in the “Sticky” music video by Drake. Directed by Theo Skudra, the visual is a provocative montage of the Her Loss rapper’s ‘Rich Flex’ in Miami, Sweden, Saint-Tropez and Montreal.
Even after his passing, Virgil Abloh remains one of the most influential voices in Hip-Hop and Fashion. Founder of Off-white, the Chicago-based designer served as the first African-American Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. Further, the Hip-Hop mogul worked alongside Kanye West on Donda too.
Abloh died last year in Chicago.
Besides stunting with cash and automobiles, Lil Baby is gearing up for new music this year. Last year, the “Forever” emcee released his third studio album ‘It’s Only Me’. Released through Quality Control, Motown Records, the star-studded LP featured guest appearances from Young Stoner Life’s bossman Young Thug, Future, EST Gee, Nardo Wick and more. Notably, the album debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart at the time.
