Indian emcees and record producers DRV and Boyblanck have linked up on an incendiary new single “Zameen Se”. The hard-hitting rap record is produced by WXVE and serves as the follow-up to “Desktop” released earlier this month.
With the latest record, DRV & Boyblanck are seemingly gearing up to drop their highly anticipated LP “Multani Mitti” this summer. Check out the exclusive “Zameen Se” preview here if you haven’t yet.
Notably, Boyblanck and DRV linked up on “Ranikhet” last year. The record served as the 11th track on DRV’s sophomore studio album “Nakshatra”. During an exclusive sitdown with Culture Haze, DRV revealed his intent to work with Boyblanck and confirmed the upcoming project.
“It’s a collaborative mixtape with Boyblanck, a young artist from Noida. I’ve been listening to his music for a while now. His work for an upcoming Anurag Kashyap film interested me and we made ‘Court Kacheri’ at the time. A collab tape only felt right. It’s at the mixing stage rn, coming in hot,” DRV said at the time.
Besides his latest single with DRV, Boyblanck has oftentimes delivered flagrant underground trap records with the Noida-based “G16” Hip-Hop collective. In December last year, G16 & Boyblanck dropped their debut rap record “It’s Good To Be Back”. The 7-track effort featured guest appearances by numerous rap artists including Bagi Munda, Darcy, J1SIX and more.
