Gravity Makes a Hard-Hitting Album Debut With ‘Supervillain’ F/ Raga, Harjas Harjaayi & Muhfaad

Indian Hip-Hop emcee and songwriter Gravity, born Akshay Poojary, has finally released his hotly anticipated album “Supervillain”. Inspired by his life growing up, the hard-hitting 10-track record is produced by Outfly and features guest verses from Delhi Hip-Hop’s ferocious emcees Raga, Harjas Harjaayi and Muhfaad.

Notably, the album arrives amidst a long rollout with the LP’s lead single “Supervillain” released in November last year. The Mumbai-based rapper has been teasing and previewing numerous rap records from the album ever since. It was only in April this year that the ‘Bombay Lokal’ affiliate confirmed that his debut full-length album is finished.

Earlier this month, Gravity talked in-depth about his debut LP during an exclusive sit-down.

“So, initially when we started out, I actually didn’t know what we were gonna do or how to execute the vision that we executed. I always knew how I was gonna end it and how, perhaps begin it; however, I was putting together the bridges to that ending. Since day one, I wanted to model this album after the movies,” Grav said at the time.

“This album has a gradual and insane buildup and then, it all comes crashing down in the end. So yeah, this album has a similar plot where for the first 8 to 10 tracks, you just consume whatever is happening and then, it blows everything away,” the rapper said further,” he added further.
