Atlanta’s rap superstar Gunna, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, has released his first single this year. Produced by American Hip-Hop superproducer BNYX, the single is titled “Bittersweet” and furthers the “pushin’ P” rapper’s top-tier discography since prison release.
Notably, Gunna’s flagrant single arrives ahead of his forthcoming live set at Wireless Festival, London. The marquee rapper is set to join a slew of artists including 21 Savage, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Future, Digga D & more at the 3-day music festival.
Gunna’s latest single serves as the follow-up to “Bachelor” – his joint effort with another American rap superproducer Turbo “The Great” and his sprawling comeback album “A Gift & A Curse”.

While Gunna continues to drop major rap records through Young Stoner Life Records, his labelmate and YSL bossman Young Thug continues to remain incarcerated under the infamous RICO trial.
Recently, Drake expressed concerns over serious “jail misconduct” after Young Thug‘s private jail conversation with girlfriend Mariah The Scientist surfaced online in January.
At the time, the legendary emcee went against the Chief Judge of Atlanta Ural Glanville and termed the ongoing RICO case as “disgraceful” and even “a wash”.
