Ahead of his highly anticipated studio album “Badworld”, Indian Hip-Hop superstar Badshah, born Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, recently visited the Dharavi Dream Project in Mumbai. Oftentimes referred to as the TDDP, the Dharavi Dream Project is a “Hip-Hop movement in Asia’s second-largest ghetto Dharavi” and has been around for over five years.
While Badshah inaugurated TDDP’s first state-of-the-art recording studio, he will further mentor 100 underprivileged youth in rap music. TDDP unveiled its recording studio on Instagram. You can check it out here.
Last month, the legendary emcee, record producer, songwriter and former Mafia Mundeer affiliate revealed that his long-awaited album is titled “Badworld”.
While the hard-hitting emcee fell short of sharing any further details of his upcoming sophomore LP, the announcement has stirred unprecedented anticipation across Indian rap music and paves the way for a release date and perhaps, the tracklist this month.
Notably, Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar Karan Aujla is gearing up for his new album too. Earlier this month, the top-selling Punjabi emcee confirmed that he gearing up for the “Making Memories” album on August 18th.
The two emcees, who are recognised across the globe for their hard-hitting rap records, previously linked up on “Players” ahead of Badshah’s top-selling EP “3:00 A.M. Sessions”.
Look out for Badshah’s long-awaited album ‘Badworld’ this year.
