India’s Hip-Hop superstar Divine has announced the release of the third music video from his latest LP ‘Gunehgar’. After dropping the visuals for Hit-Boy-produced ‘Gunehgar’ and Phenom-produced ‘Akela’, the Gully Gang bossman is slated to drop the visuals for ‘Bornfire’ featuring Russ. The exact release date for the album hasn’t been revealed yet. However, the rapper has confirmed that the music video will be out “this week”. Whether the upcoming video will be filmed & directed by Divine’s longtime collaborator JD remains to be seen.
‘Gunehgar’ is Divine’s third full-length LP which features guest appearances by Armani White, Russ, Jadakiss, Wazir Patar, Noizy and more. The LP is released through Nasir Jones a.k.a Nas’ iconic record label Mass Appeal and Divine’s very own Gully Gang.
Clocking at just short of thirty-nine minutes, the 12-track record showcases the ‘Punya Paap’ rapper being cathartic and unapologetic for his craft. “Abhi Bhi Karte Punya, Abhi Bhi Gunehgar hai” (We still do holy deeds, we’re still criminals) Divine raps on ‘Street Lori’ featuring the ‘Keep It Gangsta’ emcee Wazir Patar.
