Amidst unprecedented anticipation for his forthcoming studio album “Blue Lips”, Top Dawn Entertainment’s marquee emcee, songwriter and filmmaker Schoolboy Q, born Quincy Matthew Hanley, has just premiered the third single from the LP.
Titled “Yeern 101”, the single is produced by American rap superproducers Johnny Juliano, Yung Exclusive, Cardo and J.LBS. Notably, the single serves as the follow-up to two flagrant rap records – “Blueslides” and “Back In Love” featuring Devin Malik – released earlier this month.
Ahead of the massive single, Q shared the exclusive “Yeern 101” artwork with his fans via Instagram. Check it out below.
“Yeern 101” is further supported by an exclusive visual cut. The music video captures the “Hell of a Night” rapper’s flagrant rap life traversing top-tier golf courses.
“I’ve been living off golf from tHe last few deals/WHen tHe nike cHecc came man I still got cHills/Hit a 2k licc, I ain’t even go pro/Got a boss outlet now im I’m smelling like goat/Call me ice cube baby Way tHey sit on my cHain/Heard a lame ass n—- trying to play wit my name/WHen im 23 to it and I’m going no brain/goin dumb witH tHese Hundreds and my tHumb got stained,” Q raps on the record.

As reported earlier, Q’s album arrives amidst various TDE artists gearing up for numerous “projects” this year.
As per Top Dawg Entertainment, Grammy-winning R&B singer SZA, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, “LOVE.” singer Zacari, SiR, Ray Vaughn, Doechii, Kal Banx, Devin Malik and Lance Skiiiwalker will drop studio albums this year.
