Breaking: Badshah & Karan Aujla Team Up For New Track

India’s global Hip-Hop superstar Badshah and Punjabi rap icon Karan Aujla have teamed up for a new track. Fans have begun speculating that the track might be called ‘Players’ and is slated to release soon. Notably, India’s iconic Hip-Hop record label Def Jam Recordings India shared an Instagram story earlier today which hints at the probable collaboration. Given Def Jam India’s consistent releases with some of the biggest Hip-Hop acts in India including Dino James, Ikka, Wazir Patar, Badshah and more, a possibility that a collaborative effort between two of the most influential emcees is in the works can not be ruled out.

Badshah and Karan Aujla have been releasing some of the biggest hits this year. While Badshah recently teamed up with the ferocious Dino James and Delhi’s rap veteran Ikka on ‘Woh’, Karan Aujla released the hard-hitting single ‘On Top’ last month. However, this is just touching the surface since the two legendary artists have been making major moves all year.

Earlier this year, Badshah joined hands with Latin rap superstar J Balvin for Tainy-produced ‘Voodoo’. Considered by many as the biggest effort in Indian rap, the single was further remixed by Atlanta’s finest Lil Baby. Aujla levelled up with the release of ‘Way Ahead’ EP which featured guest appearances by Los Angeles-based trend-setter YG on ‘Gangsta’ and Ikka on ‘Unreachable’.

‘Players’ will mark the debut collaborative effort between Badshah & Karan Aujla. The ‘On Top’ emcee had confirmed that a music video “will be filmed tomorrow” during an Instagram live. Photographs and BTS footage have already begun to surface on social media.
