Chicago’s Grammy-winning rap superstar Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, is gearing up for his first single since his infamous Florida arrest last Friday.
The revered “Almost Healed” rapper, who stands arrested under strict “murder for hire” federal charges for plotting to kill NBA YoungBoy affiliate Quando Rondo’s cousin Lul Pub in Los Angeles in 2022, is set to feature on French Montana‘s forthcoming single “Big Bags”.
Announced by the top-tier “Okay” rapper earlier today, the single will arrive alongside an exclusive cut directed by American filmmaker Kid Art.
“Free The Voice,” Montana wrote on Instagram and appealed for Durk’s imminent release from prison.

For Smurk, the collaboration further arrives amidst high anticipation for his 9th studio album “Deep Thoughts”.
Set to release on November 22, the LP is home to previously released records “Late Checkout”, “Opportunist”, “Turn Up A Notch” and “Monitoring Me” with “Mixtape Pluto” producer Southside, “Opportunist” and “Turn Up A Notch”.
As reported earlier, The Voice‘s arrest has left his debut collaboration with Indian emcee Karan Aujla in disarray too. The top-tier “Sifar Safar” and “Champions” rappers, who stirred massive collaboration rumours earlier this summer, were allegedly gearing up for a new track later this year.
Besides Aujla, Smurk is gearing up for a forthcoming rap record with British rap MVP Central Cee.
Look out for “Big Bags” by French Montana featuring Lil Durk next month.
