Punjabi Hip-Hop/Rap & Pop superstar Karan Aujla and Chicago’s ‘Only The Family’ affiliate Lil Durk have stirred major collaboration rumours. The flagrant rappers, who linked up alongside the legendary Kanye West and iconic R&B singer Ty Dolla $ign in Abu Dhabi last week, have followed each other on social media.

The move has led to far-fetched rumours about a forthcoming rap record by Aujla & Durk.

Whether Aujla & Durk have a single in the works is not confirmed yet. However, the “Champion’s Anthem” emcee and his crew have been quite vocal about a possible collaborative effort.

Last year, Aujla linked up with Compton’s hard-hitting rapper YG on “Gangsta”. Considering the meteoric rise in the Punjabi rapper’s influence, a debut collaborative effort with Durk doesn’t seem far-fetched.

Just ahead of his massive link-up in Abu Dhabi, Aujla further shared an interest in working with Drake. “Is that even a question? For sure, yeah. That’s what we’re working on… just do more of the mainstream collabs,” the “Making Memories” rapper said at the time.

Notably, Aujla isn’t the only Punjabi artist gearing up for major collaborations.

Reportedly, legendary Punjabi emcee and singer Diljit Dosanjh is gearing up for at least five massive rap records. In August, Dosanjh confirmed new music with NLE Choppa and Hip-Hop superproducer Honorable C.N.O.T.E.

That announcement was preceded by Dosanjh’s forthcoming record with Saweetie and The Bronx’s A Boogie With Da Hoodie and Hip-Hop superproducer London On Da Track

Most recently, Dosanjh teamed up for the “Hass Hass” single featuring pop superstar Sia. It was preceded by the “Ghost” rapper’s massive collaborative effort “Palpita” with Latin pop icon Camilo Echeverry.

Most recently, Lil Durk linked up with “¥$” affiliates Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign on the “Vultures” single.

Look out for Karan Aujla’s forthcoming collaborative efforts next year.
