Breakthrough Indian emcee MC Altaf, born Altaf Shaikh, has released his debut studio album. Titled “Halaat”, the boisterous rap record features guest verses by Hip-Hop mogul Divine, Sammohit, Bombay’s infamous Loka and Punjabi emcee Mahlan Wala 59.
The flagrant project, announced by Altaf last week, traverses 8 provocative titles including “Halaat”, “Hood Poetry”, “Suspicious”, “Chooke Dekh” and “100 Racks”. The album is produced by Stunnah Beatz, Zero Chill, Audio Cracker and Adil.

For Altaf, the album arrives just ahead of his massive live set at Gully Fest in Mumbai.
