Indian Hip-Hop superstar MC Stan, born Altaf Shaikh, has released another single amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming rap LP “Mehfeel”. Titled “Numb”, the flagrant emo rap record arrives nearly two years after the rapper first previewed it during his massive comeback concert in Mumbai.

Notably, the single will presumably feature on “Mehfeel” and arrives within a week after Stan released the sprawling lead single “Meri Zindagi Rap Se Pan Deep Hai” last Friday.
“Numb” is released alongside a provocative visual cut reminiscent of “Entergalactica” by Kid Cudi. Watch it below.
With the release of two back-to-back mumble rap records, Stan is now nearing his third studio album with an alleged feature from Atlanta’s rap superstar Lil Baby.
In December last year, the P-Town emcee stirred far-reaching conversations about a Lil Baby feature on “Mehfeel” during an exclusive interview.
“The album is arriving soon! It’s on the way. I would only say that I’ve done deep experiments on the album. It’s a matter of listening to it just once. Listen to the album once and then decide what you want to do with it. My most ardent fans will listen to the album anyways, you know what I’m saying, my time baby.
There are deep experiments on my album and I’ve gathered various people from the industry… actors and celebrities. It’s not just rap but various other disruptive things,” the Indian rap trailblazer said at the time.
When asked about whether fans can expect a guest verse from Baby, Stan responded briefly yet positively.
“Inshallah,” the rapper said.
