Breaking: Legendary Indian Emcee Badshah Nears First Studio Album In 4 Years ‘Ek Tha Raja’, Previews Huge Lead Single ‘Daaku’ Ahead of Release This Week

Amidst unprecedented anticipation for his forthcoming third studio album “Ek Tha Raja”, legendary emcee, record producer and songwriter Badshah, born Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has previewed its lead single “Daaku”.

The single, first announced by Badshah last week, is set to release on Thursday midnight and will arrive alongside top-tier visuals shot overseas. From its first brief look, the massive visual cut is reminiscent of the “Gone Girl” and “Koi Na” rapper’s avant-garde music videos over the years.

Notably, “Daaku” will serve as the lead single to Badshah’s first album in four years. While the iconic rapper and record producer continued to drop major commercial rap singles, he hasn’t released an album since “The Power Of Dreams Of A Kid”.

Upon its release, “Ek Tha Raja” is set to traverse 17 tracks and will feature guest verses by various Indian rap superstars including Karan Aujla and Kr$na. Badshah will further feature on Ikka‘s forthcoming studio album “Only Love Gets Reply” and a feature-for-feature doesn’t seem far-fetched.

Over the weekend, Badshah shut dow Dubai’s massive 4-day “Untold Festival”.

The flagrant emcee, who recently shut down Wembley Stadium’s OVO Arena and remembered “his brother” Sidhu Moose Wala in November last year, performed at the major festival alongside marquee global artists including American rap superstars G-Eazy and Freddie Gibbs.
