Legendary Punjabi emcee, record producer and songwriter Bohemia, born Roger David, is expected to release his forthcoming studio album with marquee American record label Death Row Records.
The iconic “These Days” rapper, who continues to tease his 7th studio album across social media, recently linked up with Michael “Harry-O” Harris – founder of the historic Hip-Hop label behind various cult rap records including “The Chronic” LP by Dr. Dre, “Deep Cover”, Tupac Shakur‘s posthumous album “The Don Killuminati (The 7 Day Theory)” and its present COO Snoop “Doggy” Dogg‘s debut single “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” – and teased Death Row’s foray into Desi Hip-Hop.
“What an honor to connect with the creator of Death Row Records / Godfather Ent. Mr. Harry O. In partnership with Snoop Dogg he has big plans for India/Pak as well!. Bohemians please give Harry O a warm welcome as he enters the Desi scene!,” Bohemia wrote on Instagram alongside a photograph with the top-tier executive.
Besides teasing a partnership with Death Row, Bohemia has further hinted at a collaboration with iHeart Radio.
The legendary rapper is yet to reveal any further details about his forthcoming album. However, recently posted a slew of photographs which suggest that he is gearing up for its lead single and is expected to release it later this summer.
Hip-Hop further awaits Bohemia & another Punjabi Hip-Hop giant Yo Yo Honey Singh‘s debut collaborative effort after nearly two decades of sprawling rap careers.
First announced in October last year, the two veterans are set to join forces on the “Gaddi Shookdi” rapper’s forthcoming studio album “International Villager 2”. Besides Bohemia, the album is set to feature Indian Hip-Hop superstar Emiway Bantai.
In other news, Death Row Records co-founder and fallen Hip-Hop mogul Suge Knight has launched “Collect Calls” podcast from prison.
Look out for Bohemia’s 7th studio album.
