Karachi’s flagrant emcee and Young Stunner affiliate Talha Anjum’s debut studio alum “Open Letter” has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. The star-studded album, first announced in February this year, features Talhah Yunus, Kalamkaar’s Hip-Hop royalty Kr$na, Rap Demon and JJ47.
Notably, the LP is majorly produced by Pakistani superproducer Umair and is home to cult Urdu rap records including “Studio Gangsters”, “Downers At Dusk”, “Touch Base”, “Lost In Time”, “Two Tone” & more.
For many, “Open Letter” is often considered one of the most impactful Urdu rap records and paved the way for an unprecedented rise in Anjum’s stature in rap music.
Most recently, Anjum linked up with legendary record producer and DJ KSHMR on “Tere Bina” – the 16th track on his debut Indian Hip-Hop album “Karam”.
