Notably, this is Anjum’s debut solo effort yet. On July 1st 2017, Anjum and Talhah Yunus collaborated on the ‘Rebirth’ LP under the Young Stunners banner. Since then, the two emcees have released some of the most influential rap records in Pakistani Hip-Hop including ‘Gumaan’, ‘Afsanay’, and ‘Laga Reh’.

Last week, Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and JJ47 teamed up on Jokhay-produced ‘On Me’. Over the last few weeks, Young Stunners released their affecting single ‘Talk To Me’ and the hard-hitting trap banger ‘Benz’.

Anjum’s album announcement arrives amidst his upcoming performance at the Wireless Festival. Besides Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and Jokhay – the artists behind the ‘Young Stunners’ moniker, Houston’s legendary emcee and record producer Travis Scott and Philly native Lil Uzi Vert are slated to perform alongside Gully Gang bossman Divine and ‘Champagne Talk’ emcee King.

‘Open Letter’ will serve as the follow-up to Anjum’s ‘Worth the Wait’ EP. Released in November last year, the two-track EP was produced by UMAIR. The two records were titled ‘Death Wish’ and ‘4 AM in Karachi’. Clocking at just over 6 minutes, the EP portrayed Anjum’s natural manifestation of modern Urdu poetry on genre-fluid 808s.

Look out for ‘Open Letter’ LP by Talha Anjum this year.
