Punjabi emcee Gurinder Gill has made his massive return to rap music with a new single. With lethal production by Atlanta royalties Chi Chi (“Get Money” by Lil Baby) and Section 8 (“We Paid” by Lil Baby). The Toronto-based rapper, recognised for cult rap classics “with AP Dhillon, comes in hot on “GG” – named after his affectionate sobriquet.
First teased by the “Hard Choices” emcee last summer and announced officially this week, the single arrives alongside an exclusive cut which traverses GG’s flagrant rap life in Toronto.
Mired by LV shades and supercars, the music video further features Gill listening to “Road To Rich” by Nipsey Hussle and paying homage to the deceased rapper.
Reportedly, “GG” serves as the lead single from Gill’s forthcoming LP “World Is Ours”. “The first track of “World Is Ours” is Yours,” the fierce “4 Bakyian” rapper announced shortly after releasing his comeback record.
