Karachi, Pakistan’s rising emcee and songwriter Umer Anjum has just released his sophomore EP “Against All Odds”. Featuring record production by Pakistani producers Jokhay, Z4NE and superdupersultaan, Anjum’s EP traverses six flagrant Urdu rap records – “All For You”, “Small Talk”, “Walk A Mile”, “Let Em Know”, “Noise Complaint” and “Against All Odds”.
For Anjum, the EP arrives after the young emcee released a slew of hard-hitting rap records last year including “Fazed”, “Fun Fact”, “Close”, “Langar” & more. Anjum further linked up with Indian superproducer Deep Kalsi and rising emcee Panther on “Clout”.
In November last year, Talha Anjum’s debut LP “Open Letter” surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. The massive feat arrived days after the Young Stunners affiliate featured on KSHMR’s debut Indian Hip-Hop album “Karam”.
Umer Anjum is yet to release any visual treatment from the EP.
