Los Angeles, California’s marquee independent record label TDE, or Top Dawg Entertainment, has confirmed various studio albums this year. The iconic Hip-Hop and R&B label, which witnessed the exit of Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, will reportedly drop albums by Schoolboy Q, SZA, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad & more.

The disruptive announcement arrives after “confidential TDE flyers” were seen at Isaiah Rashad’s “Cilvia Demo” 10th Anniversary show in L.A. last night. “2024 Project Releases As of 1/30/2024” the document reads.

Besides Q, SZA, Jay Rock and Rashad, Ab-Soul, “LOVE.” singer Zacari, SiR, Ray Vaughn, Doechii, Kal Banx, Devin Malik and Lance Skiiiwalker will drop various projects this year as well.

The announcement arrives amidst high anticipation for new music by “Man of The Year” rapper and golfer Schoolboy Q. The Grammy-nominated rapper, who rose to unprecedented prominence with his flagrant rap records “Oxymoron”, “Blank Face LP” and “Crash Talk”, hasn’t released a new project in nearly five years.

Besides Q, TDE affiliate SZA has been teasing LANA, a forthcoming ‘Deluxe’ version of her last album “SOS”.

“It’s outtakes [from ‘SOS’] and new stuff, too — I added a couple of songs. It’s like a whole new project. It’s called ‘Lana’ — my name but, it’s the first tattoo that I ever got, when I was 13. It was 10 bucks a letter and I only had 40, so that that became my nickname for no reason. ‘Lana’ is really just the B-side of SOS,” SZA recently spoke about the forthcoming effort with Variety.
