California’s legendary West Coast Hip-Hop artists Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are gearing up for their debut joint studio album.

As per reports, the Compton and Long Beach-bred artists, who have released some of the most influential and historic rap records including “Still D.R.E.”, “Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang”, “The Next Episode” and “Kush”, are readying “Missionary” LP.

While the LP was slated to release on the 30th anniversary of his debut album “Doggystyle” last year, it has been pushed numerous times. However, Uncle Snoop has now assured that his and Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated album is arriving later this year.

During a recent appearance on the All The Smoke podcast, Dogg revealed that he and Dre are finishing up the album and the record is in its “final stages”.

“I’m in the lab with Dr. Dre right now. That’s Death Row/Aftermath. We finishing that up right now, tidying up the pieces to that. He’s a perfectionist,” Dogg said amidst the interview.

“When you hear what we have and how he got me rapping, it’s like a grown Snoop Dogg,” the Long Beach emcee added. “There’s some growth to him. It’s the way he selects his bars, it’s the way he uses his voice. [Dr. Dre] uses me like a f*cking robot and I love it because I love to be produced. I love to be challenged.”

Recently, Dogg linked up with Benny The Butcher on “Back Again” – the 6th rap record on Butcher’s massive debut LP with Def Jam Recordings titled “Everybody Can’t Go” – and laid a guest verse on “Kaytraminé” album by Kaytranada and Aminé.

In other news, Atlanta’s superproducer Metro Boomin and Future are gearing up for their debut joint album. The LP releases later this year.
