Lahore, Pakistan’s breakthrough emcee & actor Faris Shafi‘s debut album is being produced by Yo Yo Honey Singh. The Urdu rapper, who razed through Indian & Pakistani rap music after his resurgent record “Introduction” last year, is working on his forthcoming LP and will be executive-produced by the “International Villager” himself.

During a recent sitdown, Honey Singh gave young rappers Faris Shafi, Emiway Bantai and Hanumankind their flowers and made the shocking revelation. The news arrives amidst a trailblazing rollout of his massive rap LP “Glory”.

While Shafi has yet to confirm his debut album’s status, the rapper is set to perform at this year’s Wireless Festival in Abu Dhabi. Reportedly, Shafi will join a slew of rap heavyweights including 21 Savage, Karan Aujla, Seedhe Maut, Raf Saperra and Flo Milli in November this year.

Earlier this year, Shafi joined forces with Umair, Talhah Yunus and Calm on “Felony” – the 6th track on the Karachi-bred producer’s debut album “Rockstar Without A Guitar”. The flagrant collaboration was followed by his massive guest verse on “For The Day One$” EP by Kr$na.

Look out for Faris Shafi’s debut LP produced by Yo Yo Honey Singh.
