Toronto, Canada’s breakthrough Punjabi emcee BK, born Bikramjit Dhaliwal, has released his sophomore single this year. Titled “Icy”, the single is produced by record producer Jay Trak and arrives amidst a meteoric rise in his prominence across Punjabi rap music.
Besides the latest flagrant single, BK & the “9:45” producer Jay Trak have worked together on various top-tier Punjabi records including “Mixed Feelings” EP, “Questions”, “Missed Calls” & more.

BK’s flagrant single arrives amidst a slew of breakout Punjabi emcees releasing new rap records.
Most recently, Punjabi rap trailblazer Shubh premiered his 6th single this year. Titled “MVP”, the massive single was preceded by another breakthrough Punjabi artist Jerry releasing his debut album. Titled “RAW”, the album is home to 7 top-tier tracks – “One of One”, “Miami Flow”, “Pricey”, “Destiny”, “Alpha”, “Tease” and “Link Up”.
