Breakthrough Punjabi emcee and songwriter Tegi Pannu has released his debut EP “Broken Silence”. Produced by Punjabi superproducer GMINXR and Manni Sandhu, Pannu’s flagrant Punjabi record traverses 5 pop & rap records – “Reloaded”, “Forever” featuring Punjabi singer Prem Lata, “Addicted” featuring another breakout emcee Navaan Sandhu, “Lost” and “Trust Issues”.
Notably, the “Broken Silence” EP arrives within days after it was first announced by Pannu via Instagram. The project serves as the follow-up to his trailblazing rap record “Switchin’ Lanes” alongside the “Armed” rapper and singer Sukha.
The breakout Punjabi rapper & singer is yet to release a visual treatment from his project. Check out the exclusive “Broken Silence” artwork shared by Pannu below.
As reported earlier, Pannu is yet to release his flagrant rap record “Chamkila”. Featuring a guest verse by Indian rap royalty Kr$na, the track leaked online last summer and hasn’t made the cut on streaming platforms yet.
In other news, Punjabi emcee AP Dhillon and legendary Mercury Prize nominee Stormzy have released their debut collaborative effort “Problems Over Peace”.
The hard-hitting drill single is produced by Punjabi & British rap producer Steel Banglez and arrives just ahead of AP’s forthcoming debut at Coachella Festival this summer.
