British Punjabi emcee, record producer and filmmaker Raf-Saperra, born Adeel Sardar Khan, has reportedly partnered with Mass Appeal and Mass Appeal India for forthcoming music.
The flagrant emcee and folk singer, who continues to make an unprecedented impact on Punjabi music through a vivid concoction of folk music and evocative western influences, has confirmed that ‘new music with Mass Appeal India’ is in fact on its way.

A partnership with Raf-Saperra conveys Mass Appeal India’s intentional push towards Punjabi music.
Besides signing Saperra, the label has linked up with Punjabi Hip-Hop ad Pop superstar AP Dhillon for his avant-garde return to music after a brief hiatus.
Most recently, Dhillon premiered two internet-breaking singles – “Lifestyle” and “Scars”. The massive records, one of which “Lifestyle” even hinted at Dhillon’s slight return to rap music, were preceded by “With You”, “Sleepless” and “True Stories”. The 5 major records were distributed by the Mumbai & New York-based label.
Notably, Raf-Saperra’s major label signing arrives amidst the sprawling breakthroughs of his debut mixtape “Ruff Around The Edges”.
Released in March this year, the massive 19-track mixtape is produced by influential Punjabi folk and rap record producers Bobby Kang, G Funk, DJ Juggy, The Culprit, Ransome Beatz, Rafaqat Hussain and Saperra himself.
Most recently, Raf-Saperra added two new dates to the U.S. leg of his “Ruff Around The Edges World Tour”.
The long overdue announcement, as per which the “Modern Mirza” will perform in New York and San Francisco, was preceded by Raf’s iconic collaborative effort – “Automatic Asla” – alongside legendary singer and emcee Jazzy B and Birmingham’s woman emcee Nakeeta.
Further, The major ‘partnership’ arrives amidst Mass Appeal India’s massive foray into Southern India’s burgeoning rap scene.
In August, the major label announced exclusive partnership with rising Malayali rappers Baby Jean, Vedan & Dabzee. That massive signing was preceded by Mumbai’s rising emcee Nazz joining forces with the label through an exclusive partnership.
