Chicago, Illinois-based legendary emcee and lyricist Lil Durk – real name Durk Derrick Bank – has finally announced his long-awaited studio album. Titled “Almost Healed”, the album arrives amidst Durk revealing his plans to drop a joint album with Atlanta’s Future and is slated to drop on May 13th 2023.
Ahead of the announcement, Durk previewed a then-ongoing shoot with Dreamville’s J. Cole. Reportedly, the OTF bossman teased the track featuring a guest verse by ‘The Therapist’ during his performance at this year’s Dreamville Festival.
In February this year, Durk teased what fans recently speculated to be the sequel to ‘The Voice’ LP. However, Durk has decided to put the project on hold and drop ‘Almost Healed’ instead. While the Chicago rap pioneer has dropped the album’s exclusive artwork, he fell short of dropping the tracklist for now.

For Durk, the ‘Almost Healed’ LP serves as the follow-up to ‘Only The Family – Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros 2’ LP. Besides featuring a guest verse by Future on “Mad Max” and Trippie Redd on “Who You Are”, the LP brought together the leading voices behind the Chicago-based group including Doodie Lo, OTF Boonie Moe, Lil Law, Keno, Booka600, Chief Wuk, Deeski, OTF Chugg, C3 and more.
Further, in strict solo releases, “Almost Healed” arrives after Durk released the “7220” LP. The massive 31-track album debuted at the top spot on Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and featured guest verses from A Boogie With Da Hoodie, Ella Mai, EST Gee, Future, Gunna, Moneybagg Yo, Summer Walker and Morgan Wallen.
Look out for Lil Durk’s 8th studio album ‘Almost Healed’ on May 13th 2023.
