Compton’s iconic West Coast rapper, songwriter and philanthropist YG, born Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, has released the sophomore lead single from his “Just Re’D Up 3”.
Titled “Stupid”, the single is produced by “Not Like Us” producer DJ Mustard and features guest verses by Lil Yachty and rising rapper Babyface Ray. The West Coast banger, which was first announced by the “Do It” rapper yesterday on Instagram, arrives just ahead of YG’s DJ Mustard-produced LP in August.
“Oh, damn, y’all done f—– up
This beat hittin’ like Bruce Lee with the nunchucks
Before the court room judge us
Please, wrong way, don’t rub us
F—, yeah, when it’s beef, I eat cow
You ain’t got chicken, but catchin’ Z’s, sweet pile (Sweet pile)
N—– know what I be about
Stop playin’, I’ll knock a n—- clean out,” YG raps on the Mustard-produced single.

For YG, “Stupid” single serves as the follow-up to “Weird”. Besides the two rap records, the LP is set to feature the Compton rapper’s yet unreleased single “Gang Shit” featuring Sexyy Red. The forthcoming single was first previewed by the “Hit Me When U Leave The Klub” rapper during his debut live set in India last year.
