South London’s finest Dave – real name David Orobosa Omoregie – has released his first rap record of the year. Produced by one of the most influential names in Brooklyn drill AXL Beats, the single serves as the follow-up to last summer’s ‘My 24th Birthday’.
The drill-heavy rap record draws inspiration from Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2006 video game. Released in 2006, the cover stars of the game featured England and Chelsea defender John Terry paired up with Inter Milan and Brazil’s Adriano Leite Ribeiro.
“Look
I’m feelin’ like Adriano in Pro 6
I got the Off-White logo on both kicks
Already gone by the time that I post pics
Trap money, rap money, it’s a slow fix
I got needs that a day job won’t fix
Threesome, I’m in the middle of both chicks
Wednesday, I’m givin’ it to his old girl
GABOS, my nigga, man, it’s a cold world,” Dave raps on the track.
Interestingly, the track isn’t available on streaming services yet. In fact, the record can be accessed through his ‘Psycho’ merchandise website only. You can listen to the password protected track by entering GABOS.
