Punjabi Hip-Hop and Pop superstar Diljit Dosanjh has announced his next full-length album. Titled ‘Ghost’, the album is slated to release this year and will serve as the follow-up to Dosanjh’s iconic ‘Drive Thru’ EP. The ‘G.O.A.T.’ confirmed the album on his social media through a slew of Instagram stories.
The news arrives amidst Dosanjh’s consistent releases from ‘Drive Thru’ EP. Earlier this year, the ‘G.O.A.T.’ emcee released the visuals for ‘Caviar’ and ‘Lemonade’ – two of the leading rap records from the EP.
With the announcement of the new album, Dosanjh is gearing up for a busy year ahead. The legendary rapper is slated to perform at the 23rd edition of the world’s leading music festival Coachella. Headlined by Latin rap superstars Bad Bunny and Rosalía and Frank Ocean, Dosanjh will join a massive roster of artists which includes UK’s legendary Burna Boy, Gorillaz, the ‘Heroes & Villains’ record producer Metro Boomin’, ‘King Push’ or Pusha T, Earthgang, Kali Uchis, Pi’erre Bourne and Yung Blud too.
‘Ghost’ will be Dosanjh’s seventeenth full-length effort. Over the years, the ‘Born To Shine’ rapper has released numerous records including ‘Moon Child Era’, ‘G.O.A.T.’, ‘Roar’, ‘Con.Fi.Den.Tial’, ‘Back To Basics’ and ‘The Next Level’. Dosanjh released his debut album on April 24th, 2008. Titled ‘Ishq Ho Gaya’, the eight-track album established Dosanjh’s stature as one of the finest Punjabi folk singers at the time.
However, Dosanjh rose to become India’s global Hip-Hop superstar and achieved unprecedented stardom across the globe.
