Divine Expands India Tour Catalogue, to Perform in Lucknow, Kolkata & More

Ever since the release of his star-studded studio album ‘Gunehgar’, Divine has been gradually adding several cities for massive live performances. After performing in front of thousands of fans in his very own Mumbai and Pune, the Gully Gang bossman is gearing up for more live sets across India.

The ‘Punya Paap’ emcee and lyricist has confirmed that he is slated to perform in at least three cities in December. While the iconic rapper will perform in Indore on December 17th, he’ll head towards Lucknow (December 18th) and Kolkata (December 25th) from there.

Most recently, Divine shut down Pune and performed for over 8,000 fans. The live performance was preceded by the ‘Gunehgar’ album launch concert in Mumbai in November. While the legendary emcee has been performing his trend-setting discography, he hasn’t fallen short of paying homage to the late Sidhu Moosewala.

On November 10th, Divine – real name Vivian Wilson Fernandes – dropped his highly-anticipated third studio album. Titled ‘Gunehgar’, the star-studded LP features guest appearances by Armani White, Russ, Jadakiss, Wazir Patar, Noizy and more. The LP is released through Nasir Jones a.ka. Nas’ iconic record label Mass Appeal and Divine’s very own Gully Gang.

Clocking at just short of thirty nine minutes, the 12-track record showcases the ‘Punya Paap’ rapper being cathartic and unapologetic for his craft. “Abhi bhi Karte Punya, Abhi bhi Gunehgar hai” (We still do holy deeds, we’re still criminals) Divine raps on ‘Street Lori’ featuring the ‘Keep It Gangsta’ emcee Wazir Patar.

Divine’s third LP features the self-titled Hit-Boy produced ‘Gunehgar’, ‘Baazigar’ f/ Armani White, ‘Traffic Jam’ f/ Jadakiss, ‘Sitara’ f/ Jonita Gandhi, ‘Bornfire’ f/ Russ, ‘Plush’, ‘Bhookh’, ‘Street Lori’ f/ Wazir Patar, ‘Hitman’, ‘Akela’, ‘Flex Kar’ and ‘Blessings’ f/ Noizy.
