Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine, born Vivian Wilson Fernandes, is gearing up for a brief global tour this summer. The Gully Gang bossman is slated to perform in Australia and New Zealand as part of the “Baazigar Tour” with Kali Denali Music. Notably, Divine will traverse Australia’s Melbourne and Sydney in July and New Zealand’s Auckland in June.
Divine’s long-awaited live sets abroad arrive after his hard-hitting performance at the Wireless Festival in Abu Dhabi. Performing alongside Indian R&B and Pop superstar King, Karachi’s ruthless rap duo Young Stunners, Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert, Divine became one of the very few rappers on the Wireless roster in the festival’s history.
The rapper’s Wireless live set arrived amidst consistent headlining events at India’s biggest music festivals. Last year, Divine performed numerous far-reaching sets in Bengaluru, Pune and Lollapalooza Mumbai. However, Divine’s very own album launch concert after he released his third LP ‘Gunehgar’ was, perhaps one of the most celebrated concerts in India at the time.

Earlier this month, Divine released the 7th set of visuals from the ‘Gunehgar’ LP. Directed by Gully Gang’s Joel D’souza, the “Traffic Jam” music video portrays the emcee’s far-reaching impact on rap music across the globe. Featuring his entire collective, Divine can be seen amidst studio sessions or swerving through the streets of Los Angeles.
Look out for Divine’s highly anticipated live sets across Australia and New Zealand.
