Drake & 21 Savage ‘Her Loss’ Tops Billboard Chart With Massive First Week Numbers

Drake & 21 Savage have a massive reason to pop champagne over the weekend. The duo’s debut collaborative effort ‘Her Loss’ has achieved the top spot on the Billboard Top 200. The sixteen-track project was released on November 4th and has sold 411,000 equivalent album copies during the first week.

The album, which featured star-studded productions, was streamed for just short of 500 Million times throughout the first week and has swiftly become one of the top-selling hip-hop records this decade. Notably, this isn’t the first time that Drake has bagged the top spot on the Billboard Top 200. His seventh studio album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ reached the top spot after hefty sales figures in its first week of release. The record was released on June 17th 2022.

Drake & 21 Savage drew flak over some of the tracks on the LP. Last week, Megan Thee Stallion went on a Twitter rant after a couple of bars from ‘Circo Loco’ were interpreted as dissing the iconic Houston-based rapper. “This bitch lie ’bout gettin’ shots, but she still a stallion.” Drake says on the Tay Keith, Boi-1Da and “40”-produced track. Stallion has accused accused another rapper, Tory Lanez, of shooting her feet in 2020.
