Champagne Papi – popularly known as Drake – has released his latest collaborative effort with Nike through Nocta. Dedicated to his mother, the ‘Her Loss’ emcee redesigned the classic Nike Air Force 1s white with ‘Love You Forever’ engraved on the shoe. “Love You Forever AF1 dedicated to my incredible mother and our favourite book” Drake wrote on an IG post.
Seemingly, the design is inspired by Drake and his mother’s “favourite book”. Titled ‘Love You Forever’, the book is written by Robert Munsch & Illustrated by Sheila McGraw.
Earlier this month, Drake had previewed NOCTA’s ‘Cardinal Stock’ collab which featured fresh Puffer Jackets with NIKE in Grey, Purple and Red colorways besides minimalistic track suits and sneakers. The preview preview served as the folow-up to Nocta’s ‘Hot Step’ collaborative effort with NIKE. The iconic clothing line had joined hands with Atlanta’s emcee and producer Lil Yachty. The ‘Poland’ rapper was seen sporting the Nike X NOCTA ‘Hot Step’ – a “premium leather” basketball shoe with Nike’s signature “Humara ‘99 tooling” and “Perforations with Reflective Underlays”.
Drake has repeatedly expressed his affection for his mother – Ms Sandi Graham – through his music including Look What You’ve Done, Star 67, You & the 6, Successful and more.
