One of the most fearless emcees and lyricists from Mumbai, Emiway Bantai, has announced that he’ll join forces with the legendary Detroit-based rapper Royce Da 5’9”. Royce – real name Ryan Daniel Montgomery – is one half of the iconic ‘Bad Meets Evil’ duo alongside Eminem and one half ‘PRhyme’ with producer DJ Premier.
Earlier today, award-winning rapper and producer Lazarus – A.k.a. Dr. Khan’ – revealed that he and Emiway Bantai are working on a collaborative effort which features the ‘Fast Lane’ emcee. The EP will be titled “Detroit to Antophill”, Lazarus revealed. “History in the making. Lazarus X Emiway EP Detroit to Antophill featuring none other than my brother Royce Da 5’9” he said in an IG post.
“We out here making history. You know this been family forever.” Royce Da 5’9” further commented.
While the release date and the tracklist is yet to be announced, a collaborative effort between two of the hip-hop’s finest sure looks promising.
