Over the weekend, The iconic music festival Lollapalooza returned to India with its second sprawling edition. The two-day festival, which went down in Mumbai, witnessed major performances by a slew of global and Indian acts including JPEGMAFIA, One Republic, The Police’s former bassist and frontman Sting, legendary Hip-Hop record producer Kenny Beats, Karan Kanchan, Prabh Deep Halsey and Lauv.
Besides performances by these rap, pop and rock heavyweights, the American pop-rock band Jonas Brothers performed their debut live set in India too. Amidst the performance, the superstar act consisting of Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas performed some of their biggest pop records and brought out Indian Hip-Hop and pop royalty King for a brief performance.
During the abrupt Lollapalooza stop, the “New Life” rapper and singer performed his sprawling record “Maan Meri Jaan”. In March last year, King & Nick Jonas teamed up on “Maan Meri Jaan (Remix)” too and the singers performed the breakthrough collaboration.
